The fundamental professional aspiration of Contractor58 LP, as an engineering office, is to participate in the implementation of the objectives of the Environmental and Energy Efficiency Operative Program related to the budget period between 2014 and 2020, the primary objectives of which are sustainability, the facilitation of economic growth based on high added-value production and the expansion of employment, as well as for this growth to be realized in harmony with the protection of human life and elements of the environment, while taking long term changes into consideration.
Intervention directions specified by the Operative Program:
- Adaptation to climate change
- Development of municipal water supply, sewage disposal and cleaning, as well as sewage treatment
- Developments related to waste management and remediation
- Environmental and eco-system protection developments
- Increasing energy efficiency and the application of renewable energy sources
MAll of this is permeated by horizontal objectives, such as the prevention and moderation of the unfavorable effects of climate change, increasing the efficiency of resource utilization, the prevention and moderation of contaminations and impacts, as well as ensuring a healthy and sustainable environment.
